Just above the Sunshine Coast is Cooloola, an untouched region of significant beauty. The area is known as the Gympie Cooloola region according to the local council, this comprises of two regions, Gympie to the West and the Cooloola Coast to the East. As most websites already cover the Gympie region, Cooloola will mainly focus on the Cooloola Coast with some information about the smaller Western towns in the region.
With easy access to Fraser Island to the North and The Sunshine Coast to the South, Cooloola is sure to be a huge growth region in the coming future.
The Gympie Cooloola region encompasses the historic city of Gympie and the seaside towns of Rainbow Beach, Tin Can Bay on the Cooloola Coast, the villages in Mary Valley and the Gympie Hinterland townships of Kilkivan and Goomeri.
